This Mary Jane style shoe offers soft uppers to accommodate a high instep and lightweight for an additional stretch in the forefoot. Designed with a faux buckle contact closure strap and detailed stitching, the Flute adds a touch of class to comfort.Indications include foot problems associated with:- Diabetes- Plantar Fasciitis- Corns- Calluses- Swollen Feet- Osteoarthritis- Rheumatoid Arthritis- Bunions- Hammer Toes- Morton's Neuroma- Injuries involving tendons, muscles, and bones (e.g. Achilles Tendonitis)Product CareWith a washcloth, use a small amount of mild soap and water. Air dry. Can use a baby wipe if shoe has first been sprayed with a fabric protector. Do not machine wash.Fitting tips: Similar to the Merry Jane and LuLu. These open top shoes have a snugger fitting heel than the other open top shoes which helps reduce heel slippage. These are still not recommended for someone with a narrow heel or extreme foot conditions.Footnotes: Please remember you should not normally want to fit your diabetic patients either shorter or narrower than measured. However, by following these instructions, you will achieve a fit comparable to the other shoes in our line. It is also important to remember that when you are fitting patients that have narrow heels, it will be easier to accommodate their needs with a lace shoe.Recommendation: Width narrower or sometimes 1/2 size shorter.
